Preserving the best of the past for the future of tomorrow, we celebrate the legacy of the Morgan horse as America's first light horse breed. As a dedicated Morgan breeder, we emphasize the unique traits of Selah Morgan foals alongside the vibrant splash white pattern variations seen in splash gene carriers. We breed with the intentional goal of producing black-base Morgans that display expressed splashed white patterns in striking contrast with the white against the black. This means prioritizing our 3 black producing mares to increase the likelihood of offspring showing the gene’s hallmark traits—prominent white stockings or leg markings rising upward, bold facial white, variable belly and body spots, crisp-edged white, and often blue eyes. The filly to the right is "Selah-brated" as the first black splash we produced.
Our 30-acre ranch is nestled in the beautiful rolling hills of Praha, TX, just an hour southeast of Austin, TX, and approximately 5 miles south of Interstate 10.
Selah Morgan Horses welcomed its first "Selah" foal in 2000. Since then, we have successfully sold Morgan horses across the U.S. and have even exported to Belgium, the Netherlands, Canada, and the United Kingdom.
